Henbury Court Judo Club

SAKURA BANA BUDO KWAI

Henbury Court Primary School

The members of Sakura Bana Judo Club attended the local championships at St Katherine’s School at Pill on Sunday 3^rdOtober. Five members from this club took part: Lemonie Georgiou, Luke Simons, Quaid Wilson and Jessica Donaghue all came 3^rd in their respective categories.

Ryan Cussick fought very hard but just missed the medals.

This was the first championship for all the students except Quaid, so they all performed very well to achieve this standard and are a credit to the club. There are many people living in this area who have never visited the Castle at Blaise. The Friends of Blaise will be opening it on the following dates throughout the summer between the hours of 2:00pm and 4:30p m

If you have never done this, you will find the climb up Castle Hill to be well worth while, with views of five counties from the Castle roof. Also an interesting display of its history:
